Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs

Versatility is the word. The eggs are not just delicious, but also great pairings for salads and sandwiches. Moreover, they make a thrilling foundation for deviled eggs- another of my all-time favorites.
Have you ever been frustrated that your hard boiled eggs don’t turn out?! Me too. This foolproof recipe to ensure your hard boiled eggs turn out perfect each time!

Equipment

  • Pot with Cover
  • Mixing Bowl to fill with ice and water

Ingredients
  

  • Eggs
  • Water
  • Ice

Instructions
 

  • Place eggs in pot and cover with water
  • Boil water for 4 minutes
  • Cover and turn off burner after 4 minutes of boiling in water
  • Let eggs sit in hot water for 20 minutes (set timer)
  • Drain the hot water and put eggs in the ice water bowl for 10 minutes
  • Peel eggshells when you are ready to serve!

Helpful Hints

*Be careful putting the eggs in the pan so they do not crack or break. I put eggs in pan first, then cover with water.
*Set Timers! This recipe is so easy you can walk away and sometimes forget the eggs are still sitting on the stove or in the ice water.
