Fluffy French Toast Mix

Fluffy French Toast Mix

This is the best french toast recipe, and it is so easy to make! This classic recipe is perfect for a quick breakfast or elaborate Sunday Brunch. I chose to use sourdough bread for this recipe, but you can use the bread of your choice. The bread is soaked in a sweetened egg mixture and cooked to perfection.

Helpful Hints

*The staler the bread, the better the French Toast - how convenient when you notice your loaf of bread is stale! I chose sourdough bread for my recipe.
*I cut my french toast in half slices for serving, but you can keep the bread as whole slices
*I used tongs, so my hands did not get dirty, but you can use your hands as well (one less dirty utensil)
*While you are cooking the french toast, stick the finished french toast pieces in the warming oven at 200 degrees F to keep the bread warm while waiting to finish the recipe.
*If you have leftover french toast mix make a french toast casserole, so nothing goes to waste.
