In a small bowl, combine cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar.
In a 12-inch skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Whisk cinnamon mixture, eggs, milk, and vanilla
Pour into a shallow container that you will be able to dip the bread into
Dip bread in the egg mixture. Make sure the bread is fully coated in the mixture.
Cook slices until golden brown (about 4 minutes on medium heat)
Flip to cook the other side (I choose to cook mine a little longer to get the slices extra crispy).
Serve with syrup, powdered sugar, fresh fruit (optional)
