Ingredient for Barbarian Beef

  • 2-pound boneless round steak
  • Natural Charcoal
  • Three cloves of garlic
  • Two tablespoons of rosemary leaves
  • 1 Fresno chile pepper
  • Red wine vinegar two tablespoon
  • Olive oil two tablespoons
  • Kosher salt one tablespoon

Method to Cook

Take beef in a bowl and sprinkle pepper and salt on it. Then leave it at room temperature for 30 mins by inverting the sides of beef after 15 mins. Rearrange coals as needed while burning a pile of charcoal until they are flaming red and ashy white on the surface. Now immediately place the steak on top of the coals, 3 minutes per side, turning halfway through cooking until the internal temperature of the meat reaches 120 degrees F or 49 degrees C.

Place the steak on a platter, then set it aside. While you’re cooking the sauce, let it sit for a while. In a mixer, combine the garlic, chile pepper, rosemary, and kosher salt. Using a pestle, crush into a paste. Combine that paste with vinegar and oil in a mixing bowl. Finally, thinly slice the steak and pour the paste of sausages over it. The delicious barbarian beef is ready to eat.

Round Steak Recipes – Marinated Top Round Steak

From the beef round basic cut, the top round is a lean and delicious cut of meat. It’s low-cost and versatile. The top round is often roasted whole and split for roast beef, but the meat is also constructed, yielding the most tender steaks from this tougher portion. This cut is best served marinated and cooked to a medium-rare to medium-well. Thus make sure to cook it from 135 F to 145 F.

Allowing the steak to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 5 hours improves the flavor. The top round steak is cooked on a charcoal or gas grill or under the broiler.

Ingredients for Marinated Top Round Steak

  • 1 top round steak (1½ pounds)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dry oregano
  • One tablespoon of red pepper flakes
  • ¼ cup canola or vegetable oil
  • Red wine vinegar two tablespoon
  • ¼ cup of soy sauce
  • One tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • One tablespoon tomato pastes or ketchup
  • One teaspoon mustard
  • 1 ½ teaspoons garlic, finely minced

Method of Cooking

To marinate, take a large measuring bowl, combine the oil, vinegar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, mustard, garlic, pepper, oregano, and crushed red pepper flakes. In a large food storage bag, pour the marinade over the meat. To coat the meat, seal the bag and turn it several times. Refrigerate the steak for 4 to 7 hours, turning the bag over now and then to ensure the marinade is equally distributed on both sides.

Now preheat the oven to broil. Place the meat on a baking sheet after removing it from the marinade and allowing the excess drip off. Place the rack 2 to 3 inches away from the heat source. Depending on the thickness of the cut and desired consistency, broil for 6 to 9 minutes on each side. Preheat the grill and remove the meat from the marinade, allowing the excess to drip away. After putting the steak on the grill, cook it for 5 to 10 minutes.

Before slicing the steak, remove it from the heat source and rest for 4 to 5 minutes. Your delicious marinated top round beef is ready.

Ingredients for Round Steak and Gravy

  • Tenderized round steak, 3 pounds
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/4 cup of margarine
  • One cream of mushroom soup (in a can)
  • water or milk

Method of Cooking

Cut the tenderized round steak into serving-size pieces after removing the majority of the extra fat. If you’re using a round steak that hasn’t been tenderized, use a tenderizing mallet to pound it down.

Take a bowl, combine the flour, salt, and pepper. Then in a skillet, melt approximately a tablespoon of margarine over medium-high heat until it sizzles. Place the steak pieces in the skillet after covering them in flour.

Cook until both sides are well browned. After all, steaks are browned; place them back in a skillet. Cover the steak with a can of cream of mushroom soup and heat it until the liquid is boiling around the edges. Cook it for 50-60 min on reduced heat. The steak is ready. Now place the steak on a plate to serve.

Some of the soup will remain in the skillet. Now add a small amount of water or milk in the same skillet. Scrape the edges and bottom of the bowl to incorporate the tasty piece into the gravy. Boil it on heat, then transfer to a serving bowl. Serve the delicious tenderized round steak and gravy. You can add more water or milk for gravy, according to your need.
